Boil your lentils in some water with some turmeric and some salt. In a separate pan sauté some garlic, ginger, and shallot, add some coriander, cumin, and cayenne and whisk in some coconut milk. By the time you’ve done that, you’re ready to add the spices to the lentils. Simmer a few minutes and you’ve got yourself an Indian delight!
