How to Make Tater Tot Casserole Brown a pound of ground beef and season to taste with salt and pepper. Next stir in 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup, 4 ounces cream cheese, 1/4 cup gochujang ketchup, and 1 cup grated cheddar cheese. Cook until heated through and thoroughly mixed. Pro Tip:If you can’t find gochujang ketchup, use regular ketchup and add a teaspoon, or tablespoon, depending on how spicy you like it, of gochujang sauce or sriracha sauce. Pro Tip: You could easily sneak a few vegetables into the ground beef mixture by adding some frozen corn or green beans. The ground beef mixture can be made ahead of time and refrigerated. When you’re ready to serve, allow the beef mixture to come to room temperature or reheat it in a skillet.  Transfer the mixture to an oven safe baking dish and top with a single layer of tater tots. Bake your casserole for about 20 minutes. Top with more grated cheese and bake another 10 minutes or so until the cheese is melted. Storage and Reheating Tater tot casserole can be covered and refrigerated for about 5 days. Reheat in the oven at 350 degrees until warm. It can be microwaved, but the tater tots may not be as crispy. If you like this recipe, you might also like: Extra Creamy Stovetop Mac and Cheese or Italian Sausage Casserole.
