The beginning of our adventure! In just a few short hours (ha ha, more like 15) we’ll be in Tel Aviv.
We made it! Our very first breakfast. That’s right, in Israel you eat salad for breakfast. For me, it’s a dream come true, for my husband, not so much.
Two days later, when Joshua woke up (he suffered major jet lag) this was his first breakfast. Yes, even teenagers get salad for breakfast!
Mmm, golden eggs! Deep fried potato balls in a white cream sauce. These were our favorite 3 am snack, because jet lag is for real!
Ok, enough about the food here are a few highlights from our trip.
A view of Jerusalem.
The walls surrounding the Old City.
The Holocaust History Museum.
The Dead Sea.
The Garden of Gethsemane on the Mount of Olives.
That’s our trip to Israel in a teeny tiny nutshell.
