Our family usually visits Disney’s Vero Beach Resort every summer. With moving this past year, we didn’t make it down, so we were super pumped for this trip! The resort is beautiful! It’s the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life and recharge your batteries.
We had a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean from our room.
My favorite thing to do was to wake up at 6:25 am to make it to the beach in time to see the 6:28 sunrise.
Later in the day, I loved seeing the pelicans fly by. It was so cool to see them dive into the ocean for food.
We played some corn hole.
We looked like total dorks riding these bikes.
We played some mini golf.
I totally crushed it! That’s me, number 2 (Niki), two under par, and…I didn’t even use a mulligan!
They have the coolest pool with a super fun water slide! Randy and I didn’t compete in the water slide races this year because we wanted to give someone else a chance to win. We are known as the power couple because we win so much (ha ha).
The scariest part was when Randy was attacked by an alligator!
Whew! After that terrifying experience a pina colada sounded really good! Now that is vacation!
