- 16 ounces fresh strawberries
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 Tbsp cane sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
Cut the green top off each strawberry and hollow out the center
In a large bowl, with a hand mixer, mix together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until creamy
Put cream cheese mixture into a piping bag
Pipe cream cheese mixture into the strawberries
A block of cream cheese works best for this recipe. The whipped cream cheese will make a runny filling that won't hold it's shape.
If you don't have a piping bag, fill a plastic baggie with the filling, snip the bottom corner, and pipe the filling into the strawberries.
Cream cheese filled strawberries can be made 2-3 hours ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator until time to serve. If you make them too soon, the strawberries can become soggy.
