- 3 pounds of chicken wings
For the Rub
- 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1 Tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper or to taste
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
For the buffalo sauce
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
For the honey teriyaki sauce
- 2 cloves garlic grated
- 4 Tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sriracha sauce
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 tsp hot chili sesame oil
- 1 pinch of red pepper flakes
For the chicken wings preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Mix all rub ingredients together. Sprinkle both sides of chicken wings with the rub. Bake chicken wings on a rack for 25 minutes. Turn over and bake for another 25 minutes.
For the buffalo sauce in a pan over medium heat melt the butter and allow to cool. Whisk in the hot sauce until combined.
For the teriyaki sauce in a pan over medium heat mix all ingredients together in sauce pan and heat through.
- The rub recipe and each sauce recipe is enough for 3 pounds of chicken wings
- For the buffalo sauce, be sure to let the butter cool before adding the hot sauce so the sauce doesn't break
