Homemade Dog Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour plus more for dusting your board
  • 1/2 cup corn meal
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar free peanut butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 2-3 Tbsp water

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, corn meal, and baking powder
  • Stir in the peanut butter, eggs, and 2 Tbsp water and make a smooth dough
  • Add the remaining water if the dough is too dry
  • Wrap the dough in plastic and refrigerate 10 minutes
  • Dust a cutting board and your rolling pin with flour and roll the dough out until it is 1/4 inch thick
  • Cut out biscuits with a cookie cutter (roll the scraps together and make more biscuits)
  • Place biscuits on a baking sheet with a silpat or a greased baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes
  • Allow dog biscuits to cool completely

Notes

You can use any size or shape of biscuit cutter you like
