- 3 Tbsp butter
- 4 strips bacon
- 1/4 grated cheddar cheese
- 4 eggs
- 2 pieces bread
Set oven to broil
Cook bacon strips and cut into small pieces
Separate 2 eggs, setting yolks aside
Using a small cup, cut a small hole into each piece of bread
In a large oven-safe skillet, on medium heat, melt 2 Tbsp butter
Coat each side of bread and centers that were cut out of the bread in the butter
Put another teaspoon of butter in the center of each piece of hollowed out bread
Crack one egg into the hollow center of each piece of bread
Add one yolk to the hollow center of each piece of bread
Top each piece of bread and the cut out centers of bread with bacon and cheese
Broil until cheese is melted, about 3 minutes
